Information We Collect

DialEast does not require registration or account creation. We collect limited data automatically through standard web technologies, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on site. This data is collected through Google Analytics and is used solely to understand how readers engage with our content.

Our site also counts how many times each affiliate link is clicked. This count does not identify you personally.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to function properly and to analyse traffic. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use functional cookies required for the site to operate and analytics cookies via Google Analytics. On your first visit, a consent banner asks for your permission before non-essential cookies are activated.

DialEast does not place affiliate cookies on its own pages. When you choose to click an affiliate link, the Admitad network and the retailer may place their own cookies on their websites to attribute any purchase, under their own privacy policies.

DialEast uses the following third-party services that may collect data independently under their own privacy policies: Google Analytics (traffic analysis), Google Fonts (typography), the Admitad affiliate network operated by Mitgo (affiliate link tracking), and The Luxury Closet (retailer, when you visit its site through our links).

Affiliate Links

Some links on DialEast are affiliate links. They begin with dialeast.com/go/ and redirect you through the Admitad network to the retailer’s website. Admitad and the retailer may record information about the click and any resulting purchase, such as a click identifier, device and browser details, IP address, and order value, so that a commission can be attributed to DialEast.

DialEast does not receive your name, contact details, or payment information from these purchases. We only see aggregated reports of clicks, orders, and commissions. More information is available on our affiliate disclosure page.

Data Retention

We do not store personal data on our servers. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to their standard retention policies, and affiliate click data is retained by Admitad and the retailer according to their own policies. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with any third party for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and the right to object to or restrict processing.

If you are located in California, you have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. DialEast does not sell personal information. Information about an affiliate click is passed to Admitad and the retailer only when you choose to click an affiliate link.

If you are located in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere in the Gulf region, similar protections apply under applicable data protection law, including the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
